Audrey had just completed two years of orthodontic treatment (braces) by a local orthodontist. Considering all the problems Audrey presented with, the orthodontist gave her great treatment. However, when the braces came off Audrey realized that even though her teeth were relatively straight now, that her smile still didn’t look great. What did she not like about her teeth and smile? What did she want changed? How much teeth did she want to show when she smiled, more or less? Most people want their teeth whiter, but how white? Whiter with a natural life-like translucency, or bright white?
She expressed that she wanted whiter teeth, her front crown replaced to look natural, her teeth to be longer and fill up the gaps. But basically, she really wanted more of a perfect smile!
After carefully listening to all her concerns, the best treatment to acheive her objectives was obvious. Porcelain veneers and replacing the one front crown with a natural life-like all-ceramic crown was recommended to Audrey. She was excited to get treatment started as soon as possible, and her new smile makeover was completed in approximately a month’s time.
